Summary: If anyone knows about building vintage guitars, it's Bill Nash! He has worked with a HUGE number of them for many years and has a great deal of knowledge about how a vintage guitar looks and feels. The aged control knobs, pickguards, dinged and scratched finish, and aged hardware make the bass look old, but the modern techniques used to make the guitar ensure that it plays like a brand new instrument. Each Nash JB-75 is built by hand, so each one is completely unique. It features a Bound Maple fingerboard, an ash or alder body, and Jason Lollar hand-wound pickups. The bridge is a high quality aged traditional bridge with adjustable steel saddles made from top shelf materials, and the entire bass is given a level of wear and tear via an aging process.

Body: This bass has a traditional jazz bass shape with ash construction.

Neck: It has a C shape maple neck with black blocks and binding, as well as a 10” radius, 1 ½” nut width and 34” scale length.

Pickups/Hardware: Nash has put excellent sounding Lollar jazz bass pickups with 2 volumes, 1 tone, 250k CTS pots and Sprague orange drop capacitors. The hardware is aged nickel, Gotoh tuners, self-lubricating nut and b/w/b pickguard.

Cosmetics: Nash has hand reliced the nitrocellulose finish on this JB very tastefully. The back of the neck has had most of its finish removed making for a smooth and authentically vintage feel

Playability: It has recently been set up and restrung by our in-house luthier and has low action. It sounds and plays great. The frets are in great shape and have little to no wear on them at all.

Weight: 9lbs 1oz.

Case: This one of a kind Nash bass comes with its original, black hardshell case and original hand tag.
