Offered here is a Nash TC-63 built in 2009. It's a lot of Tele-style guitar for a relatively modest amount of cash.
This guitar has a solid Swamp Ash body with binding on both sides. It is extremely light, weighing just 6.75 pounds. It has a one-piece Flame Maple neck with Nash's "Boatneck" carve (think Nocaster) and depth measurements of .980" at the 1st fret and 1.02" at the 12th. It has an Indian Rosewood fretboard with a 10" radius, 6105 frets and a 1-5/8" tusq nut. The pickups are Lollars and it comes with CTS pots, Sprague caps, a CRL 3-way switch, master volume, master tone and modern Tele wiring. It has a vintage style Tele bridge with compensated brass saddles and vintage style tuners. It is finished in three tone sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer with medium to heavy aging.
If you like your guitars with a really big neck, you are likely to love this instrument. It feels great in your hands and contributes greatly to the superb tone of this guitar. It is accurately aged and has the look and feel of a real old Tele, but plays like a much more contemporary guitar. It is light, superbly balanced and sounds like a vintage Tele should, lots of twang without being piercing to the ears. Please check out the brief sound sample provided.
This guitar was built in 2009 and has been played, but remains in excellent condition, frets included. It comes in it's original molded hardshell case with the hang tag. A new example can be had for $2,300 but you will have a tough time finding one with this guitar's neck profile and light weight.
Get yourself a great Tele-style instrument for a modest amount of money with this great Nash.
