Here we have a real collection piece. A National Archtop from the 50s. Lower bout is 16.25” & upper 11.5”. The guitar is in very good condition with plenty of playwear, as the photos indicate.
Price is firm.
There were periods where Gibson built bodies for National during this era.We have included, in the final 2 photos documentation, from Gruhn’s Guide to Vintage Guitars, that the body is in fact a Gibson Model L-50 Body.
The top is a nicely configured Spruce.
The neck is slick & works beautifully & the ebony nut is cut at 1&11/16”. The neck, per photo, is that bolt on adjustable configuration utilized by National in many of their acoustics.
The pick guard is missing.
This a very attractive & playable piece with plenty of life & wear remaining.
Please forward all questions & examine photos carefully as we have a no return policy, unless the guitar arrives in a condition other than described .
