1952 Bigsby Natural Electric Mandolin, Serial #122552. Bigsby electric mandolins are exceptionally rare, handcrafted by Paul Bigsby, a pioneer in electric stringed instruments. This 1952 example remains in original condition with minimal playwear. One tuner has an off-center, single-line stamp. The pots and electronics are original and in working order. Includes a Paul Bigsby-made hard case. With only a handful of these mandolins ever made, this is an exceptional piece of early electric instrument history. 3.9lbs. Original hard case included.
