1968 National Prototype Archtop "Sunburst"

This is a guitar like nothing we've seen before! Likely a one-of-a-kind prototype, this Chicago-made National electric guitar features a fully hollow 17" wide body with an intricate "Checkerboard" binding. The elaborate switching allow for a uge array of tonal options, and the slim and comfortable bolt-on neck make this guitar surprisingly easy to play. Obviously inspired by intricate arch top guitars like the Super 400 and instruments played by Country Stars like Merle Travis, this is truly a unique guitar!
