How wild are these things? National, in their infinite wisdom, came out with these sometime in the late 1980s; I’m guessing that this one is from the early 90s because the person who brought it in tells me that that’s when he bought it from us, as new, and I’ll be danged if I can figure out where they hide the serial numbers on these things. Regardless….. These are extremely cool instruments, the only plug-innable, American-made, cutaway resonator guitars ever. And they're light and handy, unlike, well, you know. Has a cool, built-in active electronics pickup system. Set up for slide playing, with medium-light electric strings so you get the full resonator tone too, it’s way more than fun to play. In nearly dead-mint, unplayed condition and at a bargain price, usually about $2800 new if you can find one, this one’s totally ready to go and still has all tis original papers too at only $1295 w/ohsc
