This is a NEW OLD STOCK National Resophonic Vintage Steel Delphi from 2010. It is old stock from my old store and has never been played or sold. I was the first to take off the tissue around the neck and unpack the guitar for the pictures. The National ResoPhonic Delphi is a traditionally shaped steel bodied guitar with a hard rock maple neck, ivoroid bound rosewood fingerboard. The body and coverplate have a powder coat finish.
The Delphi is an updated version of the famous painted steel body National Duolian and National Triolian 12-fret neck guitars built from 1930 until 1934 by the National Stringed Instrument Corp.
This National Delphi features a ribbed sieve-hole coverplate, just like the pre-war original resonator guitars. In the 20's and 30's thousands of musicians discovered the punch and power of the original Nationals. The Delphi captures the classic sound and style of the originals, with the quality and features that modern players require.
Comes with the original National Hard case and all the case goodies.
The dark spots on the lower left corner of the guitar are reflections in the pictures only and are not on the guitar itself.
