Description

Summary: A beautiful and highly customized Orca '59 from Nik Huber guitars, featuring many options not available on the standard model.

Body: Custom “Fat Back” extra thick Mahogany back with belly carve. Eastern maple top in semi-gloss Charcoal Burst finish.

Neck: Solid Madagascar rosewood neck. Ebony fingerboard with black pearl trapezoid surround inlays.

Pickups/Hardware: Harry Haussel “’59” humbuckers. Madagascar rosewood pickup rings and switch tip. Two volume and two tone knobs. Adjustable bridge and stop tail piece. Schaller tuners.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. The semi-gloss finish shows little sign of wear and all hardware and frets are in great shape. With its charcoal burst top and ebony board with minimal inlays, it has a dark, stormy look that promises lots of heavy rock and roll.

Playability: Playability on this guitar is excellent. Although both the body and neck (a substantial 50s Gibson style profile) are big, the guitar is very well-balanced and very easy to move around on and not overly heavy. Action is low with no buzz or dead spots. The boutique humbuckers sound fantastic, with plenty of bite and bloom. This guitar delivers the thunder to match its looks.

Weight: 8 lbs, 15 oz.

Case: Original hard shell.
