Nishiki biwa (four-stringed five-poster satsuma biwa*). Belly board made of mulberry wood, back board made of zelkova wood. Weight: 3,000 grams. Body width: 330mm (max.), thickness: approx. 50mm. Accessories: plectrum (holly,with reduced corners, 255 mm wide, 102 grams, with repellent sheath), pillar cover, nylon gig bag 

A four-poster satsuma biwa has been modified to be a nishiki biwa by adding one more pillar between the upper and lower pillars.

[Condition.]
The four-poster satsuma has been converted to a five-poster, so there are traces of the pillar's movement. There is a small chip at the tip of the ebio.Part of the sooty bamboo at the toriguchi is chipped. Covering handSome chips at both ends of the bridge. There is no other major damage or twisting of the neck, so you can play and enjoy the sound, but it is unadjusted. Please note that it needs to be tuned before it can be used for serious playing.
