1970's Handmade in Japan Distortion Mod.
This is a modification of the MXR Distortion+ type distortion released in Japan in the 1970s under the brand names "Coron", "BIAS", "Labo", "HMJ", etc. This modification was created by Mr. Honda of HSW (Honda Sound Works). This modification was done by Mr. Honda of HSW (Honda Sound Works) (his signature is on the inside of the back cover). The brand logo on the chassis has been erased, the circuit board itself is different, and the sound is not the so-called MXR Distortion+ type distortion. It is more of a natural overdrive that can be used as a booster. The sound is more like a natural overdrive that can be used as a booster. The sound is very shiny and sparkling, with a vintage amp-like len spontaneity. The actual modifications made in the past are unknown, but the characteristics are reminiscent of many of Mr. Honda's masterpieces. This is a rare example of a piano that was given to us by Mr. Honda himself.
