Up for sale, a 1978 Orange "Hustler" 125 Reverb Twin in excellent condition and in perfect working order. This very rare Orange model features a pair of Celestion G12M Black Back speakers, original Partridge transformers, and a fresh retube with a matched quad of JJ EL34 power tubes! An extremely powerful and versatile amp in the Orange tradition, this Reverb Twin is capable of crisp, powerful cleans and the kind of rich, grinding British flavored distortion that only comes from an amp with the top notch circuitry seen here.

Aside from a professional (and essential) recap of the power supply with high quality Sprague capacitors, the circuit is essentially untouched, with original Sprague and Wima caps in the preamp, original pots, and untouched wiring. The original Partridge transformers are impressive in their size and incredible detail and sweet in their tone, with headroom and punch that is practically unrivaled in the world of vintage tube amps. The original Celestion G12M Black Back speakers are intact, with "LH" date codes which are the latest on the amplifier, dating to August of 1978, while the original inspection tag inside the chassis has a hand written date of 8/7/77, a full year earlier and indicative of how few of these amps were produced.

The original black basketweave vinyde covering is in fantastic shape, with clean gold piping, with only a few tiny spots of wear mostly relegated to the bottom corners. The original wooden skids are intact on the underside of the amp, and most of the fragile black plastic corners are present as well, with the exception of a couple on the bottom which have cracked and gone missing with age. The original handle is intact, the faceplate is very clean, and all of the original knobs are still present. Central to the original black grillcloth, the Orange crest is in fantastic shape. Last, but certainly not least, the original serial number badge is in great shape and adhered to the lower back panel.

This is an extremely rare Orange model and a collector grade amp from the company's golden era!
