Presenting the all new Deluxe55 Tweed Recreation pedal from Origin Effects. The DELUXE55 is Origin's all-analogue tribute to the legendary Fender 5E3 Tweed Deluxe amps from 1955. With a complete valve amp signal path recreated in miniature using carefully crafted transistor-based circuitry, this compact pedal nails the sound, feel and personality of one of history’s quirkiest combos. The team at Origin have captured the sound of 6V6 power amp overdrive, valve rectifier sag, ragged phase inverter distortion, and the fat gritty tone of the Tweed Deluxe’s unconventional preamp – including different valve types. From articulate edge-of-breakup tones to thick lead sounds and all-out, about-to-explode fuzz, this hugely responsive tone is a real players’ favourite, and one of the most recorded tones in history. Is it sophisticated and refined? No. Does it get the job done with style and bags of character? Absolutely! The DELUXE55 also comes equipped with Origin's innovative POST EQ circuit. This meticulously designed post-drive filter tailors the output of the pedal to work seamlessly with traditional amps, cabinet simulators OR flat power amps, so that you can enjoy vintage Tweed tone in any kind of rig. With premium quality components and a brushed stainless-steel enclosure, the DELUXE55 is built to the high standard you expect from Origin Effects. Key Features of the Deluxe55 at a Glance: • Faithfully recreates the sound and feel of the Fender Tweed Deluxe • Complete, valve amp-style signal path recreated in all-analogue circuitry • Push-pull output stage with reactive load • Preamp switch selects between 12AY7 and 12AX7 valve character • Post EQ ensures compatibility with any rig • Ultra-high input impedance • High-quality buffered bypass • Premium components throughout • Designed and built in England
