Gretsch 1973 Deluxe Chet #53149 - Used Vintage

Description:

A sexy piece of archtop history!

What we think:

Condition: Used/Vintage, Good, Scratch on Front of Headstock and Checking Consistent w/ A Well-Played Vintage Piece

Weight: 8.7 lbs.

I freely admit that I'm barely worthy of carrying Chet Atkins' guitar case, but playing this beautiful Deluxe Chet, it's hard not to feel like I'm reaching back in time to shake hands with the master himself. This guitar has history and character to spare! Switching through the different positions of its Filtertron pickups, I was treated to a variety of vintage tones and colors that would make even the most jaded Gretsch fan blush. The neck is smooth and fast, but not too thin, allowing equally for clean comping and melodic soloing as you see fit. Get your hands on this vintage beauty and experience all that it has to offer for yourself!
