An Early Ovation Adamas I Acoustic Electric. A very hard to find factory Wide Neck example with the model number 1689 distinction. Beige to Blue Burst Carbon Fiber Top, Deep Bowl Body, Carved Headstock Front and Bridge, Leaf Soundholes, Signed Label, and Piezo Pickup with Pre-Amp. Wide Neck featuring a 1 7/8" nut width and a large depth rounded neck profile. The previous owner had a luthier apply some glue to the neck body joint to prevent movement. A very good condition vintage guitar displaying light to average play wear. Included is the original Ovation hardshell case. An easy playing guitar with 3/32" bass side and 2/32" treble side 12th fret action. We have had a bunch of these early pre-1980 Adamas I guitars over the years but this is the first Wide Neck 1689 model we have had. A beautiful and Rare guitar.
