Description

Alas, the manufacturing of Parker Guitars has ended, so unless another company picks up the brand, it is likely that those that have already been made are all there will ever be. We've purchased and sold dozens of these fine and very cool guitars over the years. With their unique design elements, high tech materials and exotic electronics, there is really no other instrument quite like a Parker guitar.

Offered here is a superb Parker Fly Classic in Trans Cherry finish. Built in 2003, this was one of the first "refined" era Fly models, with simplified and more reliable electronics and three knob controls. It has a Mahogany body and a Basswood neck. It has a transparent cherry finish on top and a solid red finish on the back and neck. The electronics include the ever-present dual humbuckers (with coil splitting) and a piezo acoustic system for almost unlimited tonal options.

These guitars play like almost nothing else ever made. They are so light (this one weighs under 5 pounds) that you can play them all night long. They are super easy to play with their lightning fast neck and fret work. Parker's pickups and electronics allow you to get almost any tone you can imagine and anything you need. From jazz to rock and everything in between, these guitars can do it all.

This guitar is in very good to excellent condition. It has been well cared for and except for a few minor cosmetic flaws (see photos provided), it remains in great shape and the stainless steel frets remain in near flawless condition. It comes in it's original Parker-branded molded hardshell case, along with the trem arm, the .09 gauge trem spring (the guitar is currently setup with .10 gauge strings/spring), the adjustment wrenches and the Parker booklet.

These Parker Fly guitars are getting more scarce and more expensive with each passing day. Get this well preserved Fly Classic and see why these guitars are loved and will be missed by so many guitarists.
