Those who monitor our inventory know how fond we are of the work of Ken Parker. We've purchased and sold dozens of these fine and very cool guitars over the years. With their unique design elements, high tech materials and exotic electronics, there is really no other instrument quite like a Parker guitar. Unfortunately, Parkers are no longer being manufactured, so it appears that those already in circulation are all there will be.
Offered here is a superb "refined" era 2008 Parker Fly Classic in custom pearl white finish. It has a Mahogany body and Basswood neck both reinforced with carbon-fiber; a carbon-fiber fretboard with a 10"-13" compound radius, stainless steel frets and GraphTech nut; Dimarzio Generation 2 humbuckers and Fishman Piezo electronics; Sperzel locking tuners; Parker's custom cast aluminum trem bridge with stainless steel saddles; and controls which include coil-tapping and Piezo/mag blend capabilities.
As you would expect with a set-neck Parker, this guitar nearly plays itself. It weighs around five pounds and is super-comfortable to play. With it's very flexible electronics there are few tones you cannot get with this guitar. From smooth jazz tones to heavy metal, this guitar can do it all.
This one-owner guitar has been treated like gold. It is in near mint condition with the only flaws being some light surface wear on the bridge hardware where the original owner laid his hand while playing (see photo). Otherwise this guitar looks like new and the stainless steel frets are flawless. The guitar comes in a newer premium Parker hardshell case along with most of the original paperwork and and accessories.
With the cessation of production, all Parker models are in demand and prices are increasing rapidly. Clean examples like this Classic are increasingly hard to find. Make this beauty yours today!
