1999 Parker Fly Supreme Tobacco Sunburst "Pre-Refined Era"
Offered is this magnificent Parker Fly Supreme built in 1999 when Ken Parker still owned and was running the company. It sports all the original details unique to this incredible design, including the face-mounted tremolo tension wheel, stereo output control, ribbon wiring, the original Fishman piezoelectric acoustic pickup system and "gen 2" DiMarzio humbuckers. Near the top of the Fly model food chain, this Fly Supreme has a solid flame maple body used in combination with a basswood neck along with all the other great features, including the carbon fiber fretboard and body and neck reinforcements, stainless steel frets, etc, etc. These retailed for nearly $6K back in 1999!
Like all Parker Fly guitars, this instrument is incredibly light (this one weighs just 5.4 pounds) and is super easy to play. The combination of humbucking pickups, coil splitting and a built in piezo system give this instrument almost limitless tone capabilities. If you can imagine a tone, it's likely your Fly can reproduce it for you. Please check out the brief sound sample included.
This fabulous early Fly Supreme is in fabulous condition with just two tiny flaws which are pictured; a light scratch on the back of the neck which you cannot feel while playing and a small impression on the back of the neck between the B and G tuners. It comes in it's original Parker case with most of the original accessories. The overall condition is fantastic, particularly for a Fly of this vintage.
In that Parker guitars are no longer being manufactured, there will be few opportunities to own an a high-end model like this example, particularly a "pre-refined era" model in such great condition. Make this unique and collectible instrument yours now while you can. Very special indeed!

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. A phone number at the shipping destination is required. Other shipping services, including express services and international shipping are available at our discretion, just contact us for a quote.
Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included. Sale items, purchases that are made via layaway, those involving trades and/or international shipping are considered final except upon an error by and at the discretion of Capital Guitars.
