Description

The late Mike Auldridge was a Grammy-award winner, IBMA Distinguished Achievement Award recipient, and a founding member of the legendary bluegrass group The Seldom Scene. His collaboration with Resophonic guitar builder Paul Beard yielded the Mike Auldridge Signature Squareneck, which remains one of the most highly regarded Bluegrass Dobro models out there thanks to its unique 4” deep body and fine build.

This example is in all but brand new condition and shows no wear of any note. The black finish is without wear or scratches, and all the metal parts remain shiny and new looking. It appears to have spent just about all of the last 12 years in its case. Fresh strings and set-up have been provided by us.

The guitar features a Finnish birch construction with open body and deep 4” sides for a huge warm bass response. 25” scale, ebony fingerboard with pearl hearts and flowers inlay. Gloss black finish with ivoroid bindings, chrome plated custom coverplate and screens.

With original hardshell case and tags
