Offered here is one of the most elegant electric guitar designs available, a PRS Hollowbody. In this instance we have a "Singlecut I" model finished in a gorgeous "Natural" finish.
This is a 22 fret, 25" scale guitar and has "10" graded ribbon flame Maple top with a Mohogany used for the back and sides of the carved archtop body. The Mahogany neck has PRS' Wide/Fat profile (now known as their "Pattern" neck shape) and is a nice chunky C-shape. It has a dark, Rosewood fretboard with a 10" radius, a 1-11/16" nut and fancy abalone Bird inlays. The pickups are PRS' 245 humbuckers. Controls include a three-way switch for the humbuckers, along with master volume and master tone. Light weight PRS locking tuners keep you in tune and make string changes a breeze.
This instrument is completely hollow except for a very small solid piece under the bridge which connects to the top and back. It has a total weight of just 5 pounds, 5 ounces. It is a joy to play either (acoustically or amplified) and is one of the most beautifully-built guitars on the planet. The tone is superb too. It has a lovely woody voice unlike almost any other electric available. Please check out the brief sound sample included below.
While built in 2008, this guitar remains in excellent condition. I can find just one ding on the side of the guitar where your playing arm lays that looks like it could have come from a capo drop (see photo). The frets look like new. It comes in it's original PRS archtop case along with the tools and paperwork.
These guitars are very labor-intensive and expensive for PRS to manufacture. Get this lovely 2008 for thousands less than a new example would cost. Make this marvelous fully hollow electric guitar yours today!
