2021 Paul Reed Smith Hollowbody II Piezo "10" Top & Back McCarty Sunburst
Offered here is one of my favorite guitar models and one that is among the most flexible and beautiful guitar designs available, a PRS Hollowbody II. This beauty was built in 2021 and is in "as new" condition.
This beautiful, 22 fret, 25" scale guitar has "10" grade flame maple top and back (thus the II designation) and the sides are made of mahogany. As a '21 year model, it is finished in nitrocellulose lacquer in one of PRS' best colors, McCarty Sunburst. The mahogany neck has PRS' chunky 'Pattern' carve (formerly known as their Wide/Fat neck), the depth of which is .875" at the first fret increasing to .965" at the twelfth. The electronics include PRS' amazing 58/15 LT humbuckers along with LR Baggs piezo elements built into the adjustable stoptail bridge. Controls include a three-way switch for the humbuckers, volume, tone, blend and a three way switch for the piezo. It is incredibly light and comfortable to play, weighing just 5.6 pounds so you can play it all night long without fatigue!
With it's combination of magnetic pickups and piezo electronics, there isn't much this guitar can't do. It is one of the easiest and most comfortable to play electrics on the market and is so naturally loud and resonant that you can spare the neighbors and enjoy it without amplification. It is also beautifully-built and it's construction is much like that of a fine violin. The built-in piezo electronics give you an added dimension to your tone palette and you can easily mix it's magnetic and acoustic electric voicings. The tone is superb, with a voice that is somewhere between that of a PRS solid body and a Gibson ES-335. Check out the brief sound sample of this guitar included below.
This instrument was built in 2021 and is in near mint condition. There are no flaws of any significance and the frets are like new as well. It comes in it's original hardshell case along with all the original paperwork and the truss rod adjustment tool.

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery. Exchanges within one (1) week of the original date of purchase may be made for an item of equal or greater value at the discretion of Capital Guitars. Where permitted herein, items must be promptly returned at the buyer's expense, in the same condition as received with all accessories and paperwork included. Sale items, purchases that are made via layaway, those involving trades and/or international shipping are considered final except upon an error by and at the discretion of Capital Guitars.
