Description

9.9 of 10 Condition (1 tiny superficial ding on top)

  • PRS/LR Baggs piezo pickup system lets you blend natural acoustic tone WITH your humbuckers.
  • PRS V12 finish feels like nitro and protects like acrylic.
Pattern profile neck feels great and provides you with ultra-smooth action.

The PRS/LR Baggs piezo pickup system onboard the Hollowbody II electric guitar gives you access to the natural acoustic sound of its mahogany body. A control knob lets you blend the sound of this pickup in with the sound of the Hollowbody II's humbuckers, adding a woodier quality and extra sustain to your tone. There's also a separate output next to the Hollowbody II's main output that lets you send just the sound of the PRS/LR Baggs piezo pickup system to an acoustic amplifier. You're going to love the range of tones that you can get out of this electric guitar!
The PRS Hollowbody II is finished in a stunning PRS V12 finish. If you're seeking vintage vibe with a sophisticated edge, your search ends here. Over a decade in the making, the PRS V12 finish blends the thin, resonance-enhancing characteristics of a nitro finish with the non-cracking reliability you expect from a modern acrylic finish. It has a classic feel all its own that makes your axe feel like a well-worn instrument. One that will look flawless for years to come.
The Hollowbody II is fitted with PRS's Pattern neck. A hallmark of PRS quality, neck shapes are, of course, critical to your playing experience. Perfected after years of prototyping, the Pattern neck is an updated Wide Fat PRS neck style that's based on designs Paul Reed Smith did in the '70s and '80s for Carlos Santana, Peter Frampton, and Howard Leese of Heart. The Hollowbody II's bound rosewood fingerboard is butter under your fingertips, and with exquisite mother-of-pearl and Paua Heart bird inlays, no one will mistake your axe for anything other than a PRS.
The beautiful PRS Hollowbody II gives you classy tone that's perfect for blues, jazz, country, and more
