Here’s a chance to own a beautiful Limited-Edition "Angel" model PRS SE Abraxas double cut - plus it has been owned and played by Mr. Santana. Carlos, unlike many world-renowned guitarists, does not own hundreds of guitars and keep them in storage - he owns specific guitars that he plays, either at home, in the studio and/or on the road. So it's a very special time when he offers a few of his personal instruments for sale.
Carlos played a significant role in the development of this Abraxas SE Double-Cut model when the line was introduced back in 2001; this one was made for him specifically in 2012 and was used at home. He also keeps his guitars in pristine condition, and this one is near-mint. As he didn't take it on the road he stored it in the original gig bag.
Featuring custom artwork depicting the iconic Abraxas angel from Santana's first album and a rosewood fingerboard with a peace sign inlay, this is a great-playing and beautiful instrument, with a warm, full-bodied tone. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Mr. Santana and photo of Carlos holding the guitar. (the original certificate does not have a red "security line" on it, and the photo is a separate piece)
It's almost impossible to find a well-documented, high-quality personal instrument like this for sale - much less one at this price!
This isn't a guitar acquired and put in storage, nor a "celebrity-signed" guitar that's essentially meaningless. It is a specific personal instrument, with no "Sharpie-scrawl" - the documentation is appropriately separate.
