Rare bass produced for a short period of time from about 1982-1984!
PEAVEY has long been known as an amp/acoustic equipment manufacturer, but they also produce guitars/basses.
This T-20 model was produced for a very short period of time from 1982 to 1984, and was developed to be more modern than the T-40 and T-45 models sold at the same time.
Original hardware is used throughout, and the tuning key ratio is 24:1, which allows for very fine tuning.
The most notable feature is the pickups mounted at an angle. The escutcheon surrounding the original pickups serves as a finger rest in addition to its original function of holding the pickups in place.
The control knob with the P logo and the original bridge show that PEAVEY put considerable effort into manufacturing the bass.
The sound trend is similar to that of the PB, but it has a hard, clear sound with a very fast startup.
Although this model was only manufactured for a very short period of time, it has a high degree of perfection and is recommended for those who are looking for a bass with a PB sound that is not shared by others!
