Description

This Peavey 6505+112 combo amp is in very good condition, a few minor scuffs on the tolex, overall nice shape. Featuring 60 watts from 5-12AX7’s and 2-6L6GC’s into 4, 8 or 16 ohms with a single 12” Sheffield speaker in a closed back configuration. Lead channel and rhythm channels both feature pre-/post-gain controls and 3-band EQs, there are separate resonance and presence controls for each channel and a foot switchable crunch boost is available on the rhythm channel.

Some additional nice touches include an Accutronics 3-spring reverb and Peaveys Integrated MSDI microphone-simulated XLR direct interface which is handy for recording or suppyling a signal to the PA.

The amp's Rhythm channel defaults to a clean sound, but the Crunch switch can up the gain quite a lot. This lets you switch between clean and heavy rhythm sounds while leaving the next channel free for parts that require even more gain or volume. The Lead channel will remind you of what all the fuss is about. You'll find more gain than you're likely to need, from mid-rich, high-gain hardcore, to tight, slightly scooped death metal.

This designed in the USA, manufactured in China unit is a lot of amp in moderately sized package; it does have some weight to it. Shipping costs will vary by postal code.

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.
This is a specific item that is also being offered for sale in our brick & mortar location. It is possible that it has just been sold. Please ask if it is still available before purchasing.

*It is our policy to require a signature on delivery of all musical instruments. Please let us know if you prefer no signature required when ordering or we will automatically require a signature.
