NEW PEERLESS IMPERIAL Archtop - all solid woods with floating mini humbucker pickup-"The Best performance guitars on the Planet", distributed exclusively in the USA and Canada by Guitars 'n Jazz. Peerless guitars deliver amplified tone and performance equivalent to guitars costing 2 to 3 times more! Other guitars may look the same, but once you play a Peerless you will immediately hear the difference and be amazed at the affordability of these fine guitars!
The IMPERIAL is the top 17-inch by 3-inch Acoustic-Electric Peerless Archtop and features carved spruce top and carved maple back and ebony fretboard, bridge, pickguard, and tailpiece. It has one custom floating mini humbucker that produces over 90% the amplification of a full routed in humbucker. It gives that clear crisp punchy archtop tone and bite at any volume, whether played through a tube or solid state amplifier. Mother of pearl fretboard inlays and bone nut.
Acoustically the Peerless also has great clarity and sustain- and is full and warm and has more complexity of tone. The closest thing to the tone of the Peerless Imperial -amplified and acoustically - is the sound of a really good Heritage Golden Eagle, which costs over twice as much.

HISTORY -Peerless guitars was established in 1970. Since then they have built quality archtop and acoustic guitars for world-renowned top brands such as Gretsch of Fender, Epiphone of Gibson, Alvarez of St.Louis Music and many others with our high standards of quality.
In the early stage of business, there were times that our company produced almost 30,000 pieces of guitars per month. However, now we are focusing solely on quality and building only less than 1,000 guitars per month which is 1/25 in quantity. These changes have been done to build guitars only we can be proud of. As the result of the effort, now we are presenting series of guitars with our own brand name, PEERLESS. PEERLESS purchases raw materials personally and lumber, and drys, and stores it using our own special process. We build, assemble and finish all of guitars in our own facilities, not in any other countries or remote places. This means we have total control of production and that is how we can ensure the quality of our guitars, not to mention four decades of experiences and researches.

In late 2007, we have moved our factory to the new area called Gimhae within Korea. This new and sophisticated facility allows us to be able to build even better instruments to match the growing expectations that we receive from guitar players all over the world. With this change, we also present a few lines of new Carved Archtop Guitars for you to experience great resonance and craftsmanship of authentic jazz guitars with most reasonable prices.
