Offered here is one of the most flexible and beautiful guitar designs available, a PRS McCarty Hollowbody II in Dark Cherry Sunburst finish and built in 2002. This guitar model is a personal favorite of mine and many other players because of it's elegant construction, very light weight and the many tone options it gives you.
The HBII is a 22 fret, 25" scale guitar. Flame Maple is used for both the top and back of the carved archtop body. Mahogany is used for the neck and sides. The neck carve is PRS' Wide/Fat shape (now known as their Pattern neck) and is a nice chunky C-shape. It has a dark, Rosewood fretboard with a 10" radius, a 1-11/16" nut and fancy abalone Bird inlays. The pickups are PRS' Archtop humbuckers and the guitar has piezo elements built into the adjustable stoptail bridge. Controls include a three-way switch for the humbuckers, volume, tone, blend and a three way switch for the piezo system.
With it's flexible electronics, there isn't much this guitar cannot do. I've seen this guitar model used for everything from jazz to rock to solo singer/songwriter duty. Multiple inputs allow you to plug into single or dual amp sources, or directly into your PA or sound board. Please check out the brief sound sample provided. It is incredibly light and comfortable to play, weighing just over 5 pounds, 8 ounces! It is completely hollow except for a very small solid piece under the bridge which connects to the top and back. It is a joy to play and is one of the most beautifully-built guitars on the planet.
This guitar is in fabulous condition despite being built way back in 2002. Only the lightest signs of play and a bit of oxidation on the hardware are evident with no dings or scratches of any significance and the frets are in superb condition. It comes in it's OHSC along with the tools.

Shipping to Continental US addresses is via FedEx Ground, with flat rate shipping of $60 to Eastern time zones, $70 Central and $80 Mountain/Pacific. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is $100. Refunds of the original purchase price less shipping and a 10% restocking fee may be requested within 48 hours of delivery.
