Known for his work in Alter Bridge, Slash and the Conspirators, and his own solo recordings, Myles Kennedy is an accomplished guitarist who brings blues and jazz style to rock 'n' roll guitar playing. The Paul Reed Smith Myles Kennedy Signature brings the aesthetics of a twang territory instrument but is made to play like a rock machine — featuring a swamp ash solidbody with a maple custom-profile neck hosting a matching fingerboard on top.
The two PRS Narrowfield MK pickups were carefully voiced to capture the courage of humbuckers and the spank of single-coils, with an ability to deliver thick single-coil sounds without the hum. These pickups are paired with a five-way blade switch and a push/pull tone control that acts as a preset tone roll-off, and is neatly groomed by the plate-style steel bridge and vintage-locking tuners. Kennedy's Geometric Owl logo from his Ides of March solo release sits at the truss rod cover, representing wisdom and adaptability.
