2007 PRS Santana III Sunburst, Excellent, Hard, $2,795.00

Just in on trade from a local gentleman 67 years young. This was his back up axe that has rarely seen use. For those that aren't familiar with these and may not be a fan of PRS guitars this is worth checking out.

Things I notice about this instrument

The Big Neck PRS puts on this is a smaller version in profile of a Gibson 58 Les Paul neck making it manageable and comfortable for all size hands. I don't find it big at all. The 10" Radius is a real treat after years of playing 7.25, 9.5 and 12" radius necks.

The pickups balance better than many instruments I have offered and they work well with the 24 fret neck making every note pop. One thing PRS has always gotten right was the tuners. They tune perfectly with lil effort and the strings do not hang up in the nut.

Weighing 8 lbs and 15 ozs it is enough to let you know you have something musicly serious in your hands, however the weight distribution makes the instrument feel lighter. Due to the over all length this guitar does not suffer from Head Stock or Body dives.

To me it kind of feels as if I was able to marry a Hamer USA to a Gibson 58 or 59 Les Paul. This Santana III could be the child of that union.
