Description

If you need a really versatile electric guitar that can do both humbucker and single coil tones, may I suggest you consider this amazingly versatile and drop dead gorgeous PRS Custom 22 Wood Library guitar built in 2014. This limited edition instrument has: a Mahogany body with a Wood Library-grade quilted Maple "10" top in Tortoise Shell; a 25" scale length, 22-fret Mahogany neck with PRS' Pattern/Wide Fat neck shape; a killer Brazilian Rosewood fretboard; and for electronics, two PRS 57/08 humbuckers with a three-way toggle, master volume and master tone with push/pull pot that splits both pickups. The total weight of this guitar is just 7.71 pounds (7 pounds, 11 ounces).

PRS makes some of the most beautiful and high-quality guitars available and this example is made even more special with it's Wood Library-grade top, hybrid hardware, Brazilian Rosewood fretboard, multi-color bird inlays and custom electronics. Not only is this a drop-dead gorgeous instrument, it also plays like 'butta' and sounds divine. Cranked or clean, this guitar does it well.

This guitar is in excellent plus condition. A tiny scuff near the neck pickup (see photos) and some very light and impossible to photograph clearcoat scratches on the back of the guitar are all you will find in the way of flaws. The frets show no observable wear.

This beauty comes in a very nice Artist Grade case along with the trem arm, tools, Bird Tag, and all the other paperwork. A new example of this guitar would command $4K, but you can have this lightly played instrument for significantly less. Another fabulous piece from Paul Reed Smith!
