Bench-marking the sixties, this 2008-model Fender Vintage Hot Rod '62 Stratocaster takes all of the thunder from the past and throws it into the hands of the players who need pure vintage Fender style. Built in America, this guitar features a thin nitro lacquer-finished alder solidbody, a thick C-profile satin-finished maple neck and a rosewood fingerboard on top. Three vintage-style single-coil coil pickups with a reverse wound middle pickup roar out a vintage voice, complete with a five-way blade switch and a tone pot wired to the bridge pickup.
This guitar is in Good condition, as there are dings and scratches visible throughout, along with finish abrasions visible on the back of the guitar itself, and some fret divits on the G & B-strings. There is an estimated 75% of fret life remaining. A trem bar is not included with this guitar. Nevertheless, it still screams with power, roaring on the smallest of stages to bring the classy Fender sound and style you crave.
