Description

This guitar was built in the famous workshop of Jose Ramirez III, which produced instruments performed on by countless professionals over the years from Segovia to Sting, Chet Atkins to Sabicas, Lee Ritenour to Christopher Parkening. This one was made by Juan Miguel Guardiola, who's name corresponds to his ID # stamped on the underside of the top. The tone is thick yet clear, and has that essential warm, moody quality that made Ramirez famous. It features first rate materials and is in great condition for its age: one long crack on the back has recently been expertly repaired by master luthier Matt D'ambrosio, in addition to a few lesser typical repaired ones. An excellent example of a fine Ramirez for either collector or concert player. SOLD.
