This is an exceptionally rare Recording King Model 811, essentially a maple body Nick Lucas, that was made in the USA in 1931 or 1932. We have never seen another example of this model in person. Unfortunately this guitar is not all original, but it is nevertheless extremely rare and in very good playing condition. The top has been refinished. The back and sides appear to be oversprayed but we are not entirely sure. The neck and bridge have been reset. The bridge is probably not original but appears old. The guitar is x-braced and sounds fantastic. Please feel free to contact us with questions. It comes with the old soft shell case that is in the pictures.
