Description

It's not very often we see a Revelator here in the shop, so we're thrilled to have our hands on this beaut!

This SuperKing Hardtail in Ocean Turquoise combines elements from each decade of Golden Era Fender Stratocaster design to form a well-executed, player-centric build that has the tone and playability we've come to appreciate from small builders.

The mid 60s spec Ocean Turquoise finish shows the slightly greenish fade this color tends to exhibit after decades of play time and UV exposure, all wrapped up with an artful relic job. The aged mint guard - another 60s feature, provides great contrast between the body finish and rosewood fingerboard - a classic look in every way!

It's rocking a set of Lollar Special S pickups that wield more output and bold response than your average Strat pickup - great for rock, blues, or country. Combined with the hardtail bridge, you have access to an almost tele-like attack in the bridge position.

The neck profile is decidedly more late 50s inspired, with a nice medium/hard V profile that has lean shoulders, a smooth taper, and just the right amount of broken-in feel.

Revelator Guitars are certainly on-par with many of the top-tier Fender-inspired builders out there, and this one is perfect example of that. This one is dialed in and ready to go!

Condition: Excellent. Super clean with what we'd consider indistinguishable wear beyond the factory aging. Frets are clean, action is medium-low, and the electronics all function great.
