Description

This is it folks! The Holy Grail of guitars: The Rick Turner "Redwood Series" Model 1's. We've done many limited runs with Rick Turner and this one could possibly be the coolest! This guitar is made from Old Growth California Redwood from the Bonny Doon Mountains of Santa Cruz County. Normally the Model 1 is made from Mahogany. This guitar being made of Redwood will have a decidedly more acoustic edge to it, but at the same time will have that signature Turner Model 1 sound. Straight grained and beautiful, The Redwood body will emit incredible clarity and sustain. Rick has personally selected this wood as a "exceptional solid body wood" and insisted it be used for a special Model 1 build. This guitar has some very special appointments as well: Fully loaded with premier electronics package - Active RT Humbucker pick up, Piezo option with blending electronics, Parametric EQ and coil tap! A gorgeous torrefied flamed maple single piece neck adjoins the redwood body; Madagascar Rosewood fingerboard; full ivoroid binding front, back, fingerboard and peghead! Madagascar accents including Pick up rotator and tail piece (both bound in ivoroid). Special "Redwood" inlay at the 12th fret. Numbered and signed personally by Rick Turner himself! These guitars will not last folks and we have already sold the Prototype. Please call to reserve your Rick Turner Redwood Series now!
