1973 Rickenbacer 4001 Jetglo

ere's a 1973 Rickenbacker 4001 Bass in Jetglo finish. Super vibey, all original example! No breaks, cracks, repairs. What a phenomenal playing & sounding bass. As you can see by the pictures, most of the wear is on the back, where the finish has come off (years of belts). The top has some of that around the edges by the binding...but doesn't affect any of the binding. The back of the neck is broken in and smooth as can be. The bass features checkerboard binding, Rick-O-Sound stereo output, shark tooth inlays, two pickups...including the toaster in the neck. Playability is exceptional! The action is low and couldn't play any easier. The frets have some wear, but aren't flat by any means. Every note plays & sings. Both truss rods function properly. The pickups are full & nicely balanced with each other. Beautiful range between them both as well. Big pallet of tones. Nothing sounds like an old Rick!
