Need a "mean" Rick bass? Your search ends here. This vintage 4001 is all attitude. It's in all around good shape, nothing fishy to note. Action is low and easy. Frets are the small original ones and do have wear in them so if it's going to your every-day workhorse they might need attention sooner rather than later. There's the paint wear you'd expect to find on a 40 years old bass, including some nicks, scratches and weather checking lines, nothing over the top and really looks better than most of the same age. Pickups are nice and punchy.
