1980 Rickenbacker 360/12 Black
Summary: The world's most popular twelve string electric guitar boasts all of the deluxe features of its Model 360 cousin. A standard for recording for more than thirty years, its haunting, melodic chorus has continued to benefit from evolution. This beautiful instrument was made in 1980 & it has tons of vintage character & charm. We put a new set of Ernie Ball strings on this guitar & made sure the action was low & the guitar plays great up & down the fingerboard. This fabulous guitar also comes with the original hard shell case.
Body: Semi-acoustic body with a 15” lower bout, 1.5” deep. The back on this instrument is fully bound.
Neck: Fully bound maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, pearloid triangle fretboard markers, vintage Kluson Deluxe tuning keys. This instrument has a 24.75” scale length, 1.63” nut width, 10” crown radius.
Pickups/Hardware: 2 hi-gain pickups, stereo & mono output jacks, 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs, blend knob, 3-way switch, white pickguard, “R” tailpiece.
Cosmetics: This instrument is nearly 40 years old so it does show normal signs of wear associated with a guitar from 1980 such as pick scratching on the pickguard, some small dings on the top & natural aging on the binding but overall it has been well-loved & it is in good shape.
Playability: This vintage Rickenbacker plays great – the neck is thin & the action is low – the hardest part of playing this baby is probably tuning it!
Weight: 8 lbs, 10 oz.
Case: Original Rickenbacker hard-shell case.
