1982 Rickenbacker 360/12 Fireglo with Original Hardshell Case

Summary: The Rickenbacker 360-12 was introduced as 12-string version of the 360 in 1964, along with a number of cosmetic and hardware updates to the series. Similar to many Rickenbacker guitars, the 360-12 has been released in a number of variations over the years with changes in cosmetic details and hardware. Also like other Rickenbackers, the notoriety of this guitar was greatly enhanced by the Beatles in the mid-'60s. Modern 360-12s are very similar to their vintage counterparts and are still highly regarded instruments. This Particular Rick is in beautiful condition and ships in its original hard shell case, fully packed and insured.

Body: It has a semi hallow double cutaway body made of maple with bound slit f-hole, cream binding on back, and a really nice dark fireglo finish with some birdseye in the wood.

Neck: The three-piece Maple/Walnut neck feels great and has the classic Rickenbacker feel. It has a bound Bubinga Rosewood fretboard with 24 frets, triangle inlays, a 24 ¾” scale length and 1.57” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: It has the original 2 hi-gain pickups, “Rick-o-sound” & mono output jacks, 2 volume knobs, 2 tone knobs, blend knob, 3-way switch, white pickguard, Grover tuners, “R” tailpiece and upgraded bridge but the original is included.

Cosmetics: This Rick is in remarkably fine shape for its age and shows only minor fretwear, a few very minor dings and some light scratches on the pickguard. This guitar was kept with the upmost care and babied when it was played.

Playability: This Rick has been professionally set up, inspected and restrung with a new set of Ernie Ball strings. The action is nice and low, the neck is straight and it plays wonderfully up and down the fingerboard.

Modifications: The bridge has been upgraded but the original is in the case, also the nut has been shimmed.
