Summary: The Rickenbacker 360 is considered one of the most iconic Rickenbacker guitars of all time. Both the 12-string (360-12) and 6-string version of this guitar helped define pop music in the '60s - most notably as used by the Beatles. Introduced in 1958, the 360 was given a thinner body in 1961 and a new control and pickguard layout in 1963. In 1964, the body was updated with more rounded horns and new binding style, though the original styling was also offered in later reissues. This particular guitar is from 1995 and it sounds great, looks great & plays wonderfully.
Body: Semi-hollowbody maple body with one fully bound f-hole, double cutaway electric guitar.
Neck: Three piece neck, rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, triangle pearloid inlays. This neck is fully bound.
Pickups/Hardware: 2 Hi-gain pickups, chrome hardware, “R” tailpiece, Schaller tuning keys.
Cosmetics: This 1995 Rickenbacker is in really good condition – I found a few light pick scratches and there are some swirls in the finish from being cleaned and polished over time. I found one ding near the input jack and some light scratching on the bottom bout of the guitar. The back of the instrument shows very little wear – no buckle rash and only some light scratches. Overall it is in exceptional shape for its age.
Playability: This guitar plays great – the action is low & the instrument plays with no buzz & no dead spots.
Weight: 7 lbs, 6 oz.
Case: Original hardshell case
