1973 Rickenbacker 4001 MapleGlo

This is a very cool playing and sounding Rickenbacker 4001 that was made in the USA in April of 1973. 1973 was a transitional year for this model, but in April the 4001 still had all the good features including the checkerboard binding, toaster pickup, and full sized sharktooth inlays. This bass shows significant play wear but is in excellent playing condition. There are very small stress cracks on either side of the nut which is typical for these and they are sealed and tight. The bass is original except for the bridge and one of the tuners, which are both correct era replacements. The bass has been pro-setup and is in excellent playing condition. It comes with a vintage Ric case which is from the 70's but not original to this bass.

Guitars are shipped by Fedex ground unless other arrangements are made. Guitars are usually shipped within 24 hours of purchase.

We offer a 48 hour no questions asked return policy. If you don't like it, just send it back and we will issue a refund. We do not refund shipping charges and if you pay with a credit card there is a 5% restocking fee. If you pay with cash, check, paypal, or bank wire there is no restocking fee.
