2012 Rickenbacker 4003 Jetglo

Summary: The Classic Rickenbacker bass - famous for its ringing sustain, treble punch and solid underlying bass. A subtle strip of binding graces the elegantly curved body and the Rosewood fingerboard. Deluxe triangular inlays and stereo capability are standard features. This Rickenbacker 4003 is in immaculate used condition and has been recently setup and restrung by our in house luthier. The action is low and the neck is straight and it ships in its original hardshell case.

Body: Maple “Cresting Wave” solid body finished in black “Jetglo” and bound in a single white trim.

Neck: Maple through body neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, triangle inlays, 20 frets, 33 1/4” scale length and 1 11/16” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: It has nickel hardware, 2 single coil Rickenbacker pickups, 2 volumes, 2 tones, 3 way toggle, stereo and mono output jacks and bridge with built in mute system which is easily engaged by turning the 2 screws on either side of the bridge.

Cosmetics: This bass is in immaculate used condition and has been played with only the upmost care. There are a few extremely small dents on the body and a very small scratch by the nut but overall the bass looks like new.

Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this bass with a new set of strings and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets are in great shape with no grooves or divots.
