1982 Rickenbacker 481 Jet-Glo, Excellent, Original Hard, $1,995.00

This somewhat wild 1982 Rickenbacker 481 was purchased here new, and has just come back to us. The 481 model was made from 1973 through 1984, featuring two humbucking pickups, a phase reversal switch, and 24 slanted frets. From the original Rickenbacker literature: "This slight slant of the frets across the fingerboard eliminates the long chord reaches, reduces stretch length, and matches precisely the natural angle of the fretting fingers.” Neat, doncha think?
