Offered for sale;

Used 2010 Rickenbacker 620 serial number 10 19781.

This guitar is in excellent condition, neck and frets are fine. Cosmetically showing very limited playing time.

Rickenbacker, a distinguished name in guitars for more than 80 years, is forever attached to the early sounds of the Beatles, and the Byrds as well as many other celebrated music greats; perhaps most notably, Tom Petty.

Featuring the famous 'Cresting Wave' Maple cutaway body based on an innovative design from the 1950's. The lower bout, at the bottom of the “Wave,” is gently sloped while the upper bout, at the “Crest,” presents a sweeping shoulder maintaining full fret access in true cutaway fashion.

A Rosewood fingerboard is punctuated beautifully with triangular pearloid inlay markers, while the Maple double bound neck through body is solid and resonate. “While many competitive necks are made of only two or three wood sections, Rickenbacker necks typically are made with a minimum of four. This provides the greatest strength and resistance to warping or twisting.”

The 620 is electronically engineered to the exacting standards of the 300 series, complete with Rickenbacker's own high gain single coil pickups and stereo output. These pickups are higher gain than the "Toaster Top" earlier units. Controls include 2 volume, 2 tone, and a "Blend" control with pickup selector switch. With the exception of the German Schaller machine heads, most parts are made by Rickenbacker in the USA. The 6-saddle bridge and "R" tailpiece complete a visually stunning package.

Rickenbacker instruments are known for their quality workmanship. This tradition carries on. This is a very collectable and playable guitar. Consider this one!

“We carefully inspect every instrument when we buy it and bring it up to our standards before we offer it for sale. We also do a full set up before we ship. If you decide to purchase this guitar, please let us know what gauge strings you prefer.”

Hard-shell case included.

*Please note: we do our best giving descriptions of used pieces. We have found it impossible to describe every mark on an instrument or amp that is not in the "mint" category. Also, what's important to you may not be important to someone else. For example, you may say, "I don't care what it looks like as long as it plays or sounds well." Another person may say, "Body cosmetics are very important to me so tell me about every scratch, nick and blemish." So, please ask the questions that are most important to you. If you ask they will be answered. They are free and there's no limit. Additional photos can also be made available.

This is a specific item that is also being offered for sale in our brick & mortar location. It is possible that it has just been sold. Please ask if it is still available before purchasing.

*It is our policy to require a signature on delivery of all musical instruments. Please let us know if you prefer no signature required when ordering or we will automatically require a signature.

If you prefer your item to be sent without a required signature Imperial Guitar and the selected carrier can no longer be responsible for the security of the package once it has been delivered.
