The Rickenbacker model 381 - 12 appeared in 1958, using a design by Roger Rossmeisl, who plays a key role in certain influential guitar designs. Featuring the thin, doublecutaway hollow body and trademark slash sound hole, the model 381 also has a hand-carved maple top and back. The usual unique Rickenbacker features such as standard mono and stereo outputs, staggered tuning machines, and dual-level pickguard are included.

This example of the Rickenbacker Model 381 - 12v69 dates to the week of February 13 - 17, 2006. It is in excellent condition with almost no wear. The original silver hardshell case is included.
