1957 Rickenbacker Model G - Silver Chrome w GOLD h/w!, Excellent, Original Hard, $995.00
Just got this from the grandson of original owner! Really nice condition and ALL original. There are a few listed on the web, but when they're labeled RickenbacKer (without the original H), they're post-war, as is this one. I'm "guessing" on year of manufacture. The serial number is G9 63, the fact that it has original gold plated "single line" Kluson tuners, puts it between '56 and '57 (these guitars were not made after '57). EVERYTHING works like a new guitar. The volume knob has been cracked internally (see photos) but, according to grandson, for the last 15 years it's been this way and is NOT falling apart. This, and a little "bump" on back-bottom that has no effect on it structurally (see blue arrow in photos) are the only flaws. Original hard case is still alive too! - HEY!! We ALSO got a Rickenbacker M-12 amp with it and will list it soon (it's in the shop being "gone-thru"). This BEAUTY is priced realistically, so....why wait?
