Body: One-piece swamp ash with aged nitrocellulose lacquer finish in Blackguard Blonde.
Neck: One-piece maple with black dot inlays. 9.5” fingerboard radius. 25.5” scale.
Electronics/Hardware: Riggio “Blackguard” pickups. One volume and one control with chrome knurled knobs; three-way selector switch. String through bridge with vintage style barrel saddles. Kluson style tuners. Bone nut. Single-ply black pickguard.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. The body and neck have been professionally relic-ed by the builder, and the hardware has been aged. The work is tasteful and convincing. The result is a modern instrument with the vibe of a well-gigged vintage workhorse.
Playability: This guitar plays like a dream, with a fat neck that has been sanded to satiny smoothness and big, full frets. The action is set low and there is no buzz or fretting out. The builder-wound pickups are amazingly rich, clear and detailed. This is the Tele tone you dream about. Overall, a master-grade instrument with classic appeal.
