A 3-piece back model of S.Yairi made in 1970s, which is one of the most notable Japanese-made acoustics and still very popular among fans today, has just arrived.

Body top is spruce
You can feel the atmosphere of Japanese vintage from its candy-colored expression.

Body back is 3-piece rosewood veneer.
This style is familiar to Martin D-35.
The body sides are also made of rosewood like the back wood, but this one is laminated.

The fingerboard is ebony, and the bridge is rosewood painted black to give it an ebony look. Ebony is used for the dot-marked bridge pins, which are also nice.

The pegs are Schaller Gold tuners made in Germany.
The cell binding wrapped around the head matches with the headbanding, creating a casually glamorous look.

The neck has a non-adjustable steel truss rod, which is similar to the style of 70's Martin guitars.
The pickguard is also a painted black card, and the attention to detail in this area is also an impressive point.
