Dead Mint Condition

You don't see a lot of Jim Halls come up in Vintage Natural so when you do yiou have to scarf it up. Another added benefit to this one is that it has exceptionally figured Maple - that's also a rarity in Sadowsky guitars. As you may know Sadowsky archtops are among jazz players most desirable guitar because of their playability and tone. If anyone knows how to build a guitar with sound and playability in mind it's Roger Sadowky. Roger has been guitar tech and guitar psychologist to the stars for at least several decades now and his designs have led to some of the most functionally advanced guitars extant. If you park yourself outside his shop you can see a veritable who's who of guitar players entering his hallowed halls. And being one of the nicest people I've met in this business he is a prince among men as well. His line of archtops are beautifully designed, flawlessly executed and some of the best archtops you will ever find. He used laminate woods on these guitars that somehow sound better than other guitars made using all solid woods (which in and of itself is amazing). The laminates do increase resistance to feedback as well as making them less affected by changes in temperature and humidity - an important function if you're taking your guitar in and out of different environments like many pro players do. This is a guitar that will last you a lifetime - both in terms of it's durability as well as it's ability to make great music.
