Ishii started his own workshop after working for "Chai Workshop" for 10 years in 1970's. He is a top luthier in Japan.
He uses his own guitar molds and tools, which shows his extraordinary passion for craftsmanship.

This guitar was made in 2007 and is made of Spruce/rosewood.

The top board on the treble string side is dropped toward the fingerboard to smooth the playability of the high frets without a cutaway.
As for the sound, it is bouncy and the contours of the sound are very clear, so the guitar sounds solid and distinctive when playing solo.

The condition of the neck and wood has been inspected and adjusted by a professional acoustic guitar craftsman, and all areas are in excellent condition.
The neck has been adjusted without any chatter or sound blockage, and the string height on the 12th fret is set at about 3.7mm on the 6th string side and 3.2mm on the 1st string side.
The saddle protrusion is approximately 1.5mm-2mm.
