数あるラインナップの中でも、現在では生産が完了しているAmerican Series(アメリカン・シリーズ)。
各ギター/ベースのモデル名にサウスダコタ、ネバダ、テキサスなどアメリカの地名を冠したシリーズでした。
本機IDAHO(アイダホ)はオリジナルプレシジョンベースのシェイプに、PJ配列のPUをマウント。
アッシュボディにメイプルネックの重めのウッドマテリアルに、リプレイスメント・ピックアップの代名詞とも言えるセイモア・ダンカン製のSPB-2/SJB-2を搭載。
VolとPU SelecterというシンプルながらPJの便利さを最大限活かしたコントロールとなっています。
Schecterというとモダン系のイメージがありますが、いい意味で裏切られるような"いなたい"サウンドです！
重いアッシュボディからなる芯のある低音域と、リアPUの程よい輪郭感がいなたさとタイトさの絶妙なバランス保っており、ラウド系のみならず幅広いジャンルにお使いいただける１本です。
